Create memories for a lifetime at the Barn!

Have you ever wished you had a barn of animals that you could go visit any time you wanted? While staying at Happy Pastures you can do that! Want to help with chores you can do that to! We welcome you to visit our barn. We currently have our kids’ heifers, goats, horses, and chickens in the barn. Just a heads up some animals roam free. Currently the chickens, smaller goats tend to roam around. Please feel free to go to the barn any time you wish. While visiting the barn please do not feed the animals or go into the pens with the animals. Our kids usually do chores every morning and afternoon, unless they have prior commitments. If you would like to be a part of chores, please text Kim at 315-730-4421 and ask, “when is chore time?”. We will respond with a time, and you are more than welcome to come watch and even help. On your way to the barn stop for a swing at our playground or play a game at our volleyball court!
Come meet some of our animals!
Each animal has their name, type of animal, birthdate or birth year and something interesting about their personality. Some animals were not born on our farm and we have to guestimate on their birthdate or birth year.
We try to keep the barn full of animals for you. If they are missing it can be for many reasons. Mainly the heifers compete in shows at county and state fairs and other shows. The pigs are only in the barn for the summer. We try to get them in the barn in early summer and they are usually out of the barn in October. Over the winter they stay in a barn that is warmer and we are able to regulate the temperature for the piglets. But no matter the time of year or the weather outside you can always find chickens, goats, and horses.
